relationships.

relationships, between parent and child or friendships.
they can be just broken off so easily
they could also be like marriages, courtships.
sometimes, people cannot take it and they want to break free.
i wish that relationships would last forever.
i want them to be endless.
i hope they will not end now, not ever.
i long for them to be whole and worthy, never worthless.
somehow, they do not seem to last,
there may be hiccups here and there,
i pray for them never to be like iron, never to rust.
somehow, hoping for them never to be bare.
why are relationships so short?
why do they seem to end so quickly?
maybe people do they risks, maybe they give it a shot.
but just because of a small misunderstanding they give up miserably.
relationships between families are infinite.
we may face tribulatioins and trials,
and the end of our tunnel, theres always a certain light.
we may seem so far apart, maybe even a thousand miles.
these distances will eventually be reduced.
and we will be re-united time and time again.
the euphoria, the peace we feel,
will forever be instilled in our memory lane.

i love you two point two <3
i love every single one of you.
you have been such a great class.
the memories in my mind will forever last.
at the beginning of the year at OEP,
we had such great fun, between you and me.
all those times in the bus and in the hotel,
those i will not forget, and will keep in memories well.
those days with mr song as our maths teacher,
seem so recent, when we made fun of him,
which could never have been screechier.
all the memories are everlasting, just like the rim (of the wheel)
i still recall the massive turnover rate of maths teachers in term three,
when we would occasionally have our own time and be so free.
mr heng and mr yeo, thanks for being able to allow us to understand
theorems, and not like ms ____ who gave us equations, damn.
the final maths teacher, mr yong,
had been the final one, the we longed
for, we needed to have a permanent one,
you had been quite a serious one, not much fun.
(irony was that maths was my best subject in final years- i got 88 ><)this class, i will definitely miss,
even those "nerds" and "freaks", oh the list is too long to list.
all of you will have a special place in my heart,
the memories will neither decay nor rot.

change.
Saturday, October 20, 2007
change is a constant
something intangible we cannot escape
although we may think it is distant,
it is actually like a certain tape.
when we listen to a piece of
music each time,
we always hear a different tune.
change is constant, and it plays a different rhyme.
ignorance does not mean we are immune.
having no change is like living in a world of similarity,
where nothing new appears.
this world is full of familiarity,
everything is constant and change disappears.
change is inevitable, we cannot prevent things from happening,
the only option left is to
deal with it face to face.
even though it might not mean a thing
to you, change may still tie you down and make you in a furious haste.

results.
Thursday, October 18, 2007
results are merely just two digit, or three digits
they do not symbolize much,
its seems to be mainly midgits,
who would compare - those numbers at large.
results, do not really mean a thing,
it is only an indicator whether you studied.
unlike a ring
which truly has symbolism indeed.
failing a paper, does it prove anything, seriously?
maybe that
49 might seem to be so close to a pass,
yet you still miss that score by must that
1 miserably.
should you have got that
1 more, how long would it actually last?
passing a paper, by so small a margin
can be very upsetting at times.
especially when it pulls down your overall if can you imagine.
think about it, is it all to that that rhymes?
results, are not all to life,
that are so many greater things to that.
exams should never make you lose your direction, causing a nosedive.
seemingly like the pilot, allow the nose dip he must not let.
crashing would be the next logical consequence,
bringing what you had down the drain.
life is like a wining road with many turns
where there is happiness and pain.
on the other hand, optimistically take it step by step
one by one, slowly but surely, in your stride.
think of it like swimming, every lap
is every step closer, bringing you into the path which is right.

life.
Sunday, October 14, 2007
life and death, are so similar,
they bring about and they destroy.
the word life seems so familiar,
but so is death, which is part of Hades' evil ploy.
life, it is so meaningful,
brings about joy and peace.
babies are just a bundle of joy, being playful,
brings about happiness at least.
death, it is meaningless.
brings about pain and sorrow.
lost of a loved one only brings about pain and restlessness;
and, some may think, theres no good in tomorrow.
life, it is bad.
it still ends up in the same result, death.
it seems to be like a frog jumping from a lily pad,
the life and the zeal, can be taken away by incurring His wrath.
death is good.
it takes away the heartache, and difficulty one may go through,
it can remove mercenariness, which is the root.
death may bring about happy memoirs, of some those thought of cruel.
life and death are merely words,
of those who have hidden meanings.
some may think it is straightforward,
indeed goes the saying 'every cloud has a silver lining'.

MEMORIES.
Saturday, October 13, 2007
as i reflect,
those memories some may neglect.
i see them as a memory avenue
not one of those places where people collect revenue.
those memories, although distant,
they seem to be, oh so, recent.
i ponder and i think,
all my memories space being filled to the brink.
i close my eyes and reflect,
all those memories, like light, refract
into my eyes, as i envision
and as i see, the old me, the reflection.
as all the memories come to past,
the memories will stay and last
every person and every memory
will remain for as long as they can be.
